Nice, clean bathrooms. A little outdated but had a nice vintage aesthetic. Easy access to the beach. Out of our 4 beds, two were very soft and comfy, but the other two felt like you were laying on a concrete slab. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic, almost too rough at times. You must be in decent aerobic shape in case of the unfortunate event of elevator maintenance(happens a little more frequently than it should). Decent price for what you get with the Camelot.

First I will start with a compliment, the staff was extremely friendly and professional. The room had a nice view of the ocean and was laid out nicely. That is all for my compliments. The pools and the hot tubs werenot as clean as they should be and were not maintained as well as they could be. The room was not well maintained and needed some work. Such as the lint trap in the dryer looked like it had a dead animal in it it was so full and fortunately I cleaned it out so there should be no fires happening in that dryer for a while. The very worst thing was that my family and I were not able to enjoy the terrace overlooking the pool and the ocean due to the amount of marijuana that was being smoked in other rooms. This is not a place for families. This is a place for single people who are looking to party and enjoy what downtown Myrtle Beach has to offer.

The beds were comfy. The unit appeared to be cleaned but it smelled musty and the sheets felt dirty. The bathrooms were half clean. The safe was broken. I was charged $250.00 for sitting on the sofa for they thought it had been used. The little girl, who had not experience in customer service, screamed over the phone about the use of the sofa bed. My attempts to calm her down was unsuccessful and she abruptly hung up in the end. It seemed to be a scam to pull more money out of my hard-earned pocket. Money is money but the things she said were inappropriate. Yet, I would understand since I have witnessed some of the guest will have screaming fits over simple stuff. I suppose she thought I was the same. I saw the security guard and the employees fussing at each other in the lobby. 🙄Wow! I can only imagine how they will respond when something real happens. Some people may have had a good experience but I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is better to rent a cabin nearby. Camelot is not worth the time and money.

We stayed for 2 days while on a family vacation. Super easy and fast check in, staff was super kind and helpful. The room was one of the guest owned suites, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Beautiful views and the room it self was beautiful. Very clean, well stocked with towels. The pillows were luxurious and soft. We felt safe on the grounds. My only downside was the guests next to us were screaming and barking off their balcony and in the room. It was very late and kept waking our child so i did call the desk, she was so nice and understanding. About 10 minutes later the noise stopped. All and all it was a great stay and we'll definitely pick this hotel again.

During the summer season, the lifeguards working in front of the hotel rent umbrellas and chairs.
No food on site other than the Dunkin Donuts. Starbucks across the street as well and a Krispy Kreme and McDonald's within a 10 minute walk
As long as you stay with them it's free & they have what you need to play with at the golf course.🏌⛳️
