This place is splendid! I stopped by with a couple of questions and spoke with the lovely ladies in the front office (Ashley and Mitzi). They were so kind and informative about that the club has to offer someone like me (non-sailor). They brought me upstairs to a gorgeous clubhouse and even invited me back to check out their live music! I came back with my husband and two friends and our expectations were surpassed by the hospitality of the staff! We were able to speak with the owner and he shared his love for the club and sailing with us! We couldn't wait to join! We've gone out on quite a few Social Sails, where the club provides a skipper, a boat and 3 hours of fun, just for $50 a person!! We enjoy all their activities that they put on for their members! They have live music, bunco nights, cooking classes with a real chef and plenty more to do! Definiately worth giving them a call and stopping by, you won't regret it :) We're so excited to be new members!!

ASA course was taught with very little understanding of learning styles or teaching theory. Half of class was pithy stories or remembrances which were kinda just the instructor talking to fill time. Much more quality instruction received from my instructor at Westwind sailing for the small boats- she had an understanding of how to teach. I know this place taught special forces guys cause that’s one of the pithy stories I got told, but I have no idea why with all the other options, the government chose them. I was just taking the class for fun but was really blown away by their unprofessionalism. One thing was promised for a retest, then taken back, and they said they would get back to me, but they never did.

Our church uses this location every Sunday and I have to say the staff are always friendly and professional. The building itself and the upstairs room are ideal for our needs. The view of the Dana Point Harbor is fantastic and makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend using this facility for your event planning needs!
