Service was great, food was better! My favorite dish has to be the "Mar y Tierra" with mashed potatoes. Don Julio's has an exceptional bar selection... Top notch sips and also a decent amount of low budget options. Definitely a place to hit after a walk at the zoo, that's down the road!

I really love this place, you walk in and chips and salsa are sitting with you. The portions are a lot but not as big as a lot of Mexican restaurants around but less watery or greasy . The staff is point on, they want to make sure you are satisfied. We just had a new baby so I have not got to go in while. Really missed it. Has to be the best Mexican restaurant in Asheboro. I only have one left to try!

One of the best little known restaurants in Asheboro. I would've taken a picture of the meal, but by the time I realized it, it was gone. The place wasn't packed when we went (my first time), but it was busy. The staff service was incredible, I never got to a quarter cup, nor did I get a chance to make loud slurping sounds. Refills were prompt, it was as if they were waiting for me...honestly, if my cup runs out when I'm eating out, your tip is about to go down the drain too. I couldn't believe how great the food and service were! The dessert was deep fried ice cream, I think the batter was churro. Anyways, it was delicious!

Delicious! The potato shrimp enchiladas are the best in town.. My wife had the Pescado Don Julio. She said it was one of the best meals she had ever had! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality meal in Asheboro..
