Our monthly meetup hike. A great turn out. We had a big group and many dogs. Great companies and beautiful scenery what else can anyone asked for. I’m so happy!!

This was the first time going to Fresno Canyon Trail. It was a steady incline all the way up, and is pretty rocky I had good gripping shoes though. Definitely recommend this for a good calorie burn. Easily burn over 1000 calories. Quiet neighborhood and very peaceful as it was hardly crowded. Views from the top were amazing. I got up to Suburban Peak, I could have gone further but I was exhausted by then.

We went early and it wasn't crowded at all, we did 4 miles round, however if you wanna keep going up the mountain maybe is like 10 miles, not sure. Street parking available on the side of the entrance.

Great trail. Definitely a challenge. You have to park in the parking lot to the right and walk to the beginning of the the trail to the left. There are no bathrooms an it's a 4 mile trail to the top (8miles total). Pack water and snacks.

There is parking at the Green River Promenade. Just park closest to the trail (by all the offices), and wall like 1 to 2 minutes to your right and you will see the trail. Free parking. Cute cafe and other eateries on the plaza, as well. The website has more detailed instructions on how to park and find the trail
