Beautiful place! Grandkids had a blast on the splash pad while I sat in the shade!! Will definitely be back to check out any concerts.

Went here for the Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute concert and it was a good experience but one set of bathrooms were not working properly so had to use the one on the other side of the area. You cannot smoke inside the gate. The prices were lower than expected at the snack bar.

We've visited the splash pad here on numerous occasions. There is a big pad for older kids, and a smaller one for toddlers. Be sure to check the hours to make sure they're going to be open. There are also a lot of nice swings that overlook the pavilion. There are many nice, shaded picnic tables as well. During the summer, they have a lot of fun events, including free family movies. This is an excellent place to have fun with your family.

Great clean and well designed amphitheater with amazing sound! The trail is right there, exercise park and even places to eat within walking distance. The city did such a good job, thanks!

There is not an event on Friday, 6/21/19, however, the pavilion on park square, POPS, is open from 8:00AM to 11:00PM and the splash pads are open when the park is open. The next big event is Free Movie Friday on 6/28/19 when they will be showing the movie Sing at 8:00PM and then a ticketed event on 6/29/19, Faith, Family, Freedom Concert with Building 429 and Britt Nicole at 6:00PM.

can you bring a chair?

Yes, camp chairs are allowed! You can sit on a blanket in the terraced grass but a chair gets you up off the grass and is more comfortable in my opinion.

Is it dog friendly?

Dogs are not allowed during events, unless it is a service dog. Otherwise, dogs are allowed on a leash, except in the splash pads.

Hello I've never been to pops before and I'm gonna be attending the building 429 concert Saturday..... how does parking work there and will there be a fee?

Hi. All parking is free and there are multiple lots in the area. If street parking and the lots on either side of the venue are already full, I suggest parking behind Smith's Drugs and Butler's. Those shops are right on Main Street and there's a large parking lot directly behind the shops on that side of the road. It's only one block to the venue from there. There's a breezeway that connects to Main Street. Traffic is less congested so it's easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Enjoy the concert and thanks for coming out!

Are the water pads open to public on Sundays?

Elizabeth Pilgrim | Jun 12, 2019

Yes, I believe so. I think POPS is open 8AM to 11PM and splash pads are open when they are open. They will cut them off if no one is using them but there's a trigger to step on to turn them back on. 😀
