Foothills Family Campground

We are having fun. This campground has everything you need for a weekend getaway. We came for the weekend with my sister and her family 2 campers and 9 people total. Our kids had a blast on the playground, even our 16 yr old enjoyed himself on the basketball court, and hiking trails. We are looking at our calendar so that we can come back after the pool opens. This is a great place to just spend time camping with your family.

Very quiet place with chickens and a garden. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed it very much. I'm giving 4 stars because we were looking forward to enjoying the pool after a long day of driving, but it was closed due to unavailability of chlorine. I think this should have been disclosed when we made our reservation.

Stayed there for 2 weeks in September.. Campground is well kept. Sites are large. Owners are extremely accommodating and friendly. We even bought fresh eggs which their chickens laid that day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we plan to stay there as often as possible when we travel from our home in Florida to the NC foothills. I highly recommend this campground and look forward to our next visit.

Best campground ! Loved this place. Owners are great, very friendly and accommodating. They raise chickens so we were able to buy farm fresh eggs. Sites are big. Trail was fun to hike on. We even saw a deer. No noise from traffic. Will highly recommend this campground and we will definitely return next year. 💜
