Oh my goodness bring you're appetite. I was shocked at the amount of food that came out. It's delicious & not expensive. We also had a great waitress. I had chose a 3 item combo plate with a deviled crab on the side. My husband had a senior Flounder filet. Also we had side salads & the total not including tip was only $31.78!!!! Well worth the drive.

Great family seafood restaurant! Food was served fast, hot, and fresh. Friendly staff and very nice atmosphere.

These type restaurants are quickly disappearing. As a kid we ate almost weekly at one of the area "fish camps" a generic term applying to fried fish and seafood. Now there are only a handful left and this one is most certainly the best. The food no matter how busy is always freshly made and very tasty. They use peanut oil to fry the fish that emparts a fantastic flavor. So if you are like me and like these places as much for nostalgia reasons as the food. Big Dave's won't disappoint. The only problem I have ever had is the parking the lot is just a tad to small for the amount of tables. So pick up is recommended.
