Staff was extremely disrespectful. The dogs are well taken care of but being helped out to ask information about any animal they have attitude and are always rushing.

I'm super disappointed with the pet lottery process. We were told to get there no later than 10:45 am and right at 11am someone came in. One of the employees said to the other employee "it's 11, should we let her?" And the other one said yeah. If you're going to do a pet lottery at least make it fair and say no to people that are late!

The animal shelter is kept pretty clean. But ladies in front not too friendly. The lady by the entrance didn't smile once. Don't think I'd return. Although there was a dog I was interested in.

Arrived early morning with hopes of getting a new family member. Was shocked at the turnout for the puppies. Even more shocked when my number was drawn for the sweetest Pom ever. No their lottery system is not rigged. I didn’t know any of the shelter employees. It seems the fairest way to decide who gets a dog, when multiple people are there for the same one.(I am not just saying that because I won either. I had been going to shelters for 3yrs before I finally got chosen for a dog) After the adoption I called a couple times the first week with questions. The staff was very nice and willing to discuss my concerns in detail. I did not experience any shortness, or rudeness. The facility appeared clean and well maintained. The staff seems to genuinely care about the animals. Thank you Norco for giving me my new best friend, Naughty. She’s doing great and getting quite used to the spoiled life.

Yes, they do. You can go to the city website and fill out the application. You will have to do a (free) background check at the City Hall.
A good heart and a little money. Good luck finding your new baby. I have adopted 2 pets from Norco animal shelter.
They use petharbour
Sometimes they have other livestock. Horses, goats, chickens, etc. You have to go in and check.
All information is posted on their website 👍🏻
It's very easy, the people there are so nice and helpful! We brought our current dog with us to meet the new dog and see if they were compatible, they let us take the new dog into a private area for a meet and greet. We loved him and all that was left was a bit of paperwork and fees (I don't remember how much, but not bad). 😊
