A nice park to walk in. Not very strenuous, but nice for a leisurely stroll. You could probably swim, too. Fishing is, also, allowed. It's a little trashy from where people don't pick up after theirselves. It can get a little crowded sometimes. The lake is pretty, and you can see some wildlife.

No lifeguards on duty. If you are going to swim, I would have a life jacket on. You would want to swim somewhere away from the pier area.
No waterfalls mainly just fishing and boat access. Only waterfalls around here is in Burke county at macgallured falls
If you start a hike at tater hole and follow the trail into lakeside park, there will be a small creek leading into a cove that my family's children love to wade in. There are also numerous beaches on the trail by the lake.
Pretty easy. You could spend the day there. So calm and peaceful.
