The tacos were fine, thus the three stars. The service, though, was horrible, thus only three. I specifically chose the no-dairy option, but the first thing they dumped on my fish tacos was dairy, in the form of cheese and sour cream. When I protested, they pointed to my receipt as though that proved something, but I pointed out that it clearly said “no dairy.“ Even if they hadn’t had to start the order again, the service was interminably slow and not one word was said to me by any of the sullen employees, despite several pleases, thank yous, and I appreciate its. Such, I guess is the post-pandemic fast food market.

My first experience with District Taco was April 2022 on a trip to see a best friend in Arlington. Wow, the chicken burrito was incredible and in my opinion, the quality, flavor and overall experience far exceeds Chipotle restaurants. What a delicious, fast, informal but high caliber dining experience. As a westerner, finding what I consider good quality Mexican food on the East Coast can be a rarity, but this really hit the spot.

Nice tacos. They have self-serve order screens with help if needed. Prices are pretty accessible and the food is good. One or two tacos should be enough for most people. They also have Jarritos for a complete Mexican experience 😃
