My mother has been a part of the Wyndemere community for 18 years. After a fall, in early 2021, she moved to Wynscape. I visit with my mom 5 days a week. I see first hand the “top-notch”care she receives from the entire staff: office, nursing, CNAs, kitchen, laundry maintenance, activities, therapists. They work well as a team and are responsive to the individual needs of residents and family members!

This is a small facility with a huge heart. The staff truly cares about the residents. The state has consistently given them high ratings and this is due to all the hard work they put into caring for their patients, as well as the cleanliness of the facility. They did an excellent job of containing the level of infection during the Covid crisis, not to mention the care and compassion they showed the residents/family members during such a difficult time. We have had several friends who have had their friends/family their for convalescence and they totally agree with us. They have many long term employees who are still with them and when asked why, will tell you it is because they love what they do. What they do is by no means an easy job and I respect and admire them for their level of care and concern. Placing someone in long term care is not an easy decision. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone who asked my opinion.

I couldn’t be happier with this facility! My aunt stayed there for a few months and she received the best care possible puts my mind at ease. The staff here are beyond exceptional!!

For ten years my aunt lived in a senior living community in Oak Park in one of their independent living apartments. Her rapid decline in health all began back in the spring when she fell and broke her hip. Since that time it has been a real struggle to say the least. A couple of surgeries, in and out of the hospital, contracting COVID are just some of the challenges she faced during these past several months. We searched for a rehabilitation center in hopes that we would find a caring place with a compassionate staff that would nurse her back to better health. We found Wynscape and admitted my aunt this past May. It has been a long road and my aunt hasn’t always been an easy patient over the last several months. But I want to commend all the nurses, CNA’s, therapists and all the staff at Wynscape. The were faced with a challenging and very ill patient but never gave up on her. Each day they treated my aunt with kindness, patience and respect. In regards to the facility it is an older building but the interior has all been recently renovated. The common areas are very well organized and welcoming. The resident’s rooms are well maintained and very clean as well. I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone at Wynscape for taking such great care of my aunt. My family and I are so grateful to all of you. It is such a challenging time to work in healthcare but we want you to know that we so appreciate all of your efforts. I’m happy to report that my aunt has improved so much and will continue to get healthier and stronger because of our experience at Wynscape.
