My wife absolutely loves this store. We live in Imperial county so it is very hard to find products such as these. So everytime we visit San Diego this is a must stop and stock up store. The have excellent hot fresh food, a great bakery and amazing produce. Always a favorite!

I work as a fulltime instacart worker and this maybe the worst supermarket I’ve ever experienced. Not only were there countless missing items that they claim were “in stock”, but the workers were extremely rude. When i asked for assistance they kept pushing me away claiming that they were “busy”. Extremely unprofessional

Haven't been there in a while found my some of my favorite drinks from Japan. The drive is a little far for me but definitely if I'm in the area I will make it a point to stop in.

Great for purchasing all food needs in one place. Also has a dine-in cuisine, bakery, and optometrist. Need rice? We got it.

Very safe, covid 19 practices were definitely in place. Lots of hand sanitizer stations, no one was let in without a mask. I felt comfortable that I was safe shopping.
They do, however not always the case. I have found them in the baking aisle if they are in stock.
I don't think they have fresh ones. They maybe in the frozen section
They sell Asian food and American food.
yes
Call for availability.
No they are frozen on ice
In the grocery store I'm sure they do although have never had eel in the small restaurant but they most likely do. They have some of everything.
99 has black bean paste in a jar. If the fish is really fresh, rub with salt and steam with ginger slices, finish with soy source, spring onion and hot oil on top is my favorite way for fresh fish.
I agree. Most grocery stores take EBT. So I would guess 99 Ranch would too. But it's best to call and double check before going over there.
Everything you said has ready-made
Steam buns , yes. In the deli/ bakery section.
In my experience, no Thai dishes are difficult to cook...It's getting all the ingredients needed for the flavor. Google your recipes first... I get all my Thai stuff from Lucky Seafood in mira mesa (viet store mostly)
I believe they do
If you have
Yes they do. Saw some last week. Like any fresh seafood place they don't have everything all the time, but if you want fresh crawdads it's worth a check, and their prices are good.
You may ask but, most likely, they don't carry that product.. They are an Asian product market more than Mexican product market. They do have a fresh meat and seafood market...
Yes look in the produce isle
Dont think i see them .
Ive seen them sell bitter melon before.
It does but mostly Chinese
It changes with availability but I can tell you that it is typically the most inexpensive I have found in all the Asian style supermarkets on this side of town.
