On my most recent trip to San Diego a friend recently took me to Vien Dong to buy fish for a BBQ. This is the place to go! I am certainly not an expert when it comes to Asian grocery stores but this one seems to be exceptionally well stocked. The fish market had many varieties of seafood that I have never seen before. Kimchee is a favorite for me to make and I found potential ingredients that will be fun to try.

For a small location, this Vietnamese superstore has a good variety of fresh meat, frozen fish/meat, canned food/fruits. This place is a vegetarian's dream with 1 of the largest selections of veggie food in Tx, Ca, Fl. Very surprised to see an entire row of freezers devoted to vegetarian "meat" and "seafood" and a stand full of dried vegetarian textured protein "meat" by the back of the store. The produce area needs improvement; missing many staples like cai lan, basil leaves, etc. 1 star off for their no video/picture policy and being warned about it by security.
