Great beach, love the lighthouse, Missy and I had a great time walking the beach and looking for rocks and shells, more rocks though, was a great day in January, warm and no wind, just great, also has a state camp ground which I will be trying soon, if you have so e time, stop, you will enjoy it, I will definitely be back, 7/22 went to explore different beaches this time in the pull out areas, was very nice, small climb but came right out on beach

What a lovely campground! We pulled in at 8 pm and got a drive in spot on a Friday night in July with a conversion van. We paid $39 for a lovely secluded and wooded site. The place is so well run with great campsites and numerous hosts and volunteers. The campground is open and the gatehouse was staffed until 8 pm, which is great for late arrivals. We were able to ride our bikes to the lighthouse and along the miles of rugged and windswept beach. We listened to a great ranger talk on native plants and trees. The bath houses were clean and the showers were hot. We are on the road from Maine visiting NP. We liked the area so much we stayed a second night and rode our bikes through Brandon Dunes to Whiskey Run beach and back. Both the nights we were able to manage without reservations ahead of time. The Oregon State Park system is top notch and they know how to run campgrounds.

Nice campground,it seem to be very popular. There's a trail about 1 mile to the beach from our campsite in B loop. There are 4 loops with 50 to 60 campsites in each loop. l also noticed yurts in the A loop. I thought the campsites were cozy and private. Restrooms are clean and well maintained.

Great Camp ground. Very clean. There was a mix up with our site and our group site and had to move after 3 days. Moving wasn't a problem. However the park ranger, she had a huge attitude and was very rude. Should have gotten her name and badge number to report. But didn't want her to have free rent in my head. I wanted to enjoy camping. Camp hosts were fantastic. Thought garbage drop off was too far away. Didn't use the restrooms.

They have RV sites, most have a small area suitable for a tent. Sites with only water and electricity are $28 for residents and sites that have water, electric and sewer are $30 for Oregon residents out of state visitors pay 25% more... Yurts are also available but you should always reserve in advance, this is a busy campground and is often full. There isn't any overflow parking or places you can sleep in your car other than a campsite and they don't have the ability to make an exception under any circomstance.
Yes just talk with the sea people at the water's edge there are large underwater structures they will rent out if you ask nicely
I don't know, but I would imagine the yurts are safe. As a precaution, I would contact the site hosts, which are usually there, or call the parks department for an assessment. Hope this helps!
Do you have any openings for rv overnight. If so...what dates available for July 2nd and July 3 2021 -
Go to the Oregon State Parks website, put in the park you want, the dates you want and it will show you any availability.
You can come and go as needed. I notified the park that we would be arriving after regular hours. Our yurt key was left in an area set up by the host's trailer
Yes you can. It works very well.
Yes...but the ones I've seen are full. Call around where you want to go.
Call them they do have one campground loop open in march with full hookups
According to Oregon Administrative Rules, "The taking of driftwood in small amounts by visitors for souvenirs, for personal use, or as gifts is permitted. The removal of large amounts of driftwood, or any wood with mechanized loading equipment, shall be prohibited except as approved by the park manager... No wood shall be removed which is inbedded in the beach or in sand dunes banks."
There are no restrooms within the Yurts within the Oregon State Parks.
I think I saw some camping areas there big enough for you. If occupied there are several places within driving distance that will easily accommodate you. Oregon is very tourist friendly and the beaches in Bullards beach and surrounding area are worth the visit. My sister just moved to Bandon about a mile from Bullards beach and I have visited it several times already. I come from California and the beaches and surrounding forests are way more spectacular than anything I've seen before. Well worth the trip.
Look on Reserve America. It gives the length of each site.
I can't say weather thats permited
No live music in campgrounds but Bandon is not far away and there are bars that have music. I'm not sure about any festivals at that time.
Probably but you have to make reservations last I heard
I suggest calling them.
I suggest Cape Blanco if you're camping with a tent. Bullard's camp sites are designed for RV camping mostly.
They do have heaters but I would still recommend warm bedding and pajamas.
There is a fire restriction for all fires not inside the campground fire rings. So no beach fires.
By the light house but you can't get to the beach it's covered by logs but you can see it really close
I'm pretty sure it only has one. Its probably a double if I were to guess
The cell service is adequate. The internet is non existant except at the library in Bandon. Don't know anything about the horse camp but our cells worked pretty well where ever we went in the park.
The campground is about a mile from the beach. The trail to the beach is called Pearl's Trail and it starts from loop B. Visit the website and take a look at the map and get more info. This is a really nice park.
Usually nearby on the site. Yes
You can also go online to Reserve America to check availability and make reservations.
