A fine place for a short and easy stroll. We did the trail into the marsh area and the -mile figure 8 by the office. However, my husband and I found 5 ticks on the two of us after the walk, so make sure you check your clothes after!!

It's really beautiful in it's own ways. Lots of bird life to watch here. Swallows, hawks and even saw an eagle 🦅 out there. Couldn't get good pictures of them cause they were moving so fast but they were beautiful ❤️

This is a beautiful refuge with lots of birds to watch and listen to. The completely vacant parking lot made for a wonderful place to eat lunch on the 4th of July while everywhere else near Bandon was packed with people.

Bandon Marsh is absolutely beautiful!! Such a diverse group of birds, mammals, and plants life. Definitely worth stopping and seeing and taking some pictures of the wide array of beautiful and interesting plants and animals.

The closest place to launch a kayak would be Bullards Beach State Park at their boat launch. It is the Coquille River that goes by the refuge. The Statesman Journal did an article about kayaking at the refuge. The river goes by Bandon Old Town.
