20 months into our journey with Valley Quality Homes we're STILL attempting to get guaranteed repairs done. You have to pay in full on delivery and now we have no recourse. Messages are ignored and phone calls unanswered or not returned. Originally we were promised a 5 month delivery. 9 months later the home was delivered in the dead of winter.We had to hire some one else to place half the home in the snow because Valley wasn't capable. My contractor called me and said the owner was giving me 15 minutes to figure out what to do. I called the owner to try to make arrangements and tell her 15 minutes wasn't enough. Her response was" you've wasted 5 minutes arguing with me". Their delays and overruns while labor and supplies were going up exponentially cost my mother her life savings and then some. Our original salesman was fired and we were not told. That cost us a couple months because we believed our home was"in the works" . We only found out because ,after no contact, we called and got Pat( the only bright spot in the whole deal, excellent and knowledgeable). But then Pat quit and of course, no one notified us, AGAIN we found out because we called after no contact and that cost us more time. Of course, as with any new home there are things that need to be made correct. Valley supposedly guarantees their work. To date, we have a floor that was installed unevenly, leaving about an inch ledge running the length of the home, buckling the carpet and making for a tripping hazard. Then there's the shower floor that has scratching and the finish worn off, the rusting stainless steel sink, the windows that are difficult to open and close and the fire hazard in the fireplace because they installed the wrong bottom. There are other small things like the chunk out of the ceiling coffers, the scratched up lineolum, the toilets that run constantly,the gaps in the Hardy board and trim that need caulking, the paint that needed touch up inside and out. The filthy condition inside and out that they delivered the home in. Not to mention that the model we looked at( and thought we were purchasing) had been modified to an open concept kitchen and laundry area, to make the model more appealing. They did not tell us that and so we got something completely different. (A fact told to us by Roger). A special shout out to the incredibly rude set up crew and their boss, Tisha, who not only allowed them to treat us that way (because we showed up on site to see the house after delivery), but defended their behavior. The tall guy actually tried to provoke my husband into a physical altercation. My elderly mother has been treated so poorly I would NEVER recommend Valley Quality Homes to anyone. So now we will be forced to pay someone else to fix the "guaranteed" work and seek remedy.I should have listened to my gut when it was obvious the original salesman was drinking on the job... but the prices were good and the promised delivery time was far better than anyone else was offering. In retrospect, it is all very clear why. If you live in Idaho, do yourself a favor and check out Peter's homes. They are more expensive but the base models have more upgrades and the only guy that has a remote Trax in the area does his business with them.

The man we've been working with has been rude, laughing at us and repeatedly lying about our delivery date. We haven't had our own home in over a year, and we're paying money for a house we don't have, as they're refusing to deliver it. Everything is set and ready, and they're the only thing left.

We are planning a move to our new property in WA. In checking out the manufactured homes we came across Valley and they surpass all the others by 100%. Our sales agent was friendly, informative and took all the time answering our questions. We like the look and style of the homes plus the customizing is perfect for our needs. Will let you know later after we have made a purchase on how well they continue to perform.
