Some guy shows up at 5:30 wanting to access my yard. Be decent and make an appointment like every other company and don’t just show up in the middle of dinner!!

Chris Pieroni, joint-use customer project coordinator at Avista is the most kind, professional, get the job done kind of human I’ve ever dealt with! I had a power pole in the middle of my driveway. Avista was changing out their old poles and this was one of them. They moved the pole to the side of my property line and informed me that the two companies that still had wire on the old pole had 90 days to transfer their lines and last one on the pole would pull it. Chris was on top of the emails to those businesses every couple of weeks and was excellent at relaying information to me. I also contacted those businesses to no avail. Finally, 130+ days later, my pole wires were transferred and the pole removed. During this process, Chris couldn’t have been better at keeping me in the loop of what he’d done. I too worked on this from my end as I had to cancel pavement of my driveway that was scheduled for 100 days out. He was patient, kind, listened to my needs and didn’t give up! His presentation was deliberate and exceptionally professional. I could only hope that all company contacts were as great to deal with as Chris is. I can not thank you enough Chris Pieroni! Your customer service and representation of Avista Utilities is above excellent! I hope you go as far as your dreams will take you in your career! You are one of a kind!

John and Kyle went above and beyond to help with a potential gas leak. Although there was not a serious leak, they were able to fix a small one and ease our minds about not blowing up the house. Thanks for all your help!

I sure wish I knew your company was going to dig up my new flower bed in advance. I wouldn't have planted it two weeks ago. Even though the dig is 100% on my property.

When I needed that done, I just called Avista and they had a team come out and look at it and make a recommendation. If they find it needs to be done then they send out a team to handle it.
Customer service
Avista does have a rebate program. It varies per state but in Washington the window incentive is $3.00/sf. Check out myavista.com/energy-savings/rebate-overview
SNAP is the program where you apply for assistance with that.
Damn, I hate that too. I once paid a bill for my daughter and they refused to tell me how much. I asked how am I supposed to know how much to make the check out for and he said the amount.
They offer different rebates based on state for installation of certain appliances. https://www.myavista.com/energy-savings/rebate-overview

I would have to see it and get ahold of avista
I would say to call Avista and they should be able to help just let them know that you are moving to the apartment and you need to know about the electricity
Hi Terri, thank you for letting us know. I will pass this on to our customer service reps. You can also report outages by texting OUT to AVISTA (284-782) or by calling 1-800-227-9187.
Hi Dianne, we don't do the installations, but have a list of registered dealers you can look through here: https://myavista.com/energy-savings/energy-saving-advice/find-an-hvac-contractor. Good luck on your project!
Your installation contractor should have all the information about rebates. If they dont call Avista and they can direct you to the right information. There may be information on the Avista website as well
Hi Jimmy, I'm sorry that you haven't heard back from anyone. If you are able to call us at 1-800-227-9187, one of our CSRs can go over the details on your bill and discuss your usage with you. We want to make sure your bill is accurate and you have a clear understanding of it. Again, I'm sorry for the delay in response. We very much appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback here.
Hi Cynthia, we can definitely help you with that! Just give us a call at 1-800-227-9187. Make sure your client has given you information that will allow you to identify yourself as someone who has the authority to make the request. Thank you!
Yes.
Actually yes. You cannot have fire with out 3 things oxygen, fuel, heat. However you cannot remove something without replacing with something else, so has your fire burns oxygen it is drawing more from outside. Your house is not sealed from the outside. As recommended with all gas types you should have a carbon dioxide alarm in your house. It will beep if your air gets to saturated. Hope this helps.
Yes. Very easy. Just call i did before purchasing home to get an idea.
It appears that you may be in Zone 6 of the Smart Meter rollout. That is scheduled to receive the replacement between June 1 and Oct. 31, 2020. You can check myavista.com/about-us/energy-innovations/smart-meters and scroll down to the deployment map near the bottom of the page.
They are delta because certain ones control certain blocks
You can always check outagemap.myavista.com for information on outages.
They don't have a fax num unless you are talking with someone and you are trying to provide documentation for what you are talking to this person about.
That depends on the efficiency of your battery charger.
Kinda depends on how much natural gas you use. I'm in a 3 bedroom house and depending how cold it gets, could be around $50.
I had an issue like this with a tenant. Not sure what their deal was, but when i was looking into it i read an article about someone who got a new printer and the old one was still hooked up and was out of paper. It was basically waiting for more paper and had a few things in the que. Printers apparently pull a lot of power and are not meant to be on all the time, that's why they go into sleep mode.. Maybe check on what kind of things may be "on" albeit not active...
