this park is not open on Wednesday... just friday saturday ,sunday they close if it rains or if it is too cold or if the range officer feels like going home. they don't respond to emails or phone calls about hours the range "might be open" you just have to drive out there and find the gate locked. the information on their web page is unreliable at best. as it isn't kept up to date this park gives a calendar listing events that don't exist - and there is no plan to bring these events to life any time in the foreseeable future.

Great outdoor range, excellent staff, nice location. The range is located north of bandon below Coos Bay. The gate is located just off the 101 highway and the roads are well maintained. The disposal site gate and driveway are next door. The facility is located down the road and signs guide you there. The staff has targets for sale and membership is not required to use the facility. You can buy single hour use for 10.00. They also have yearly membership for 100.00. And family plans for minors. They do accept credit cards for payment. No food or vending. They have short range pistol and long range riffle areas. They do not sell amunition. You should bring your supplies and refreshments. This was my first time using the facility and it was a day after heavy rain. The place was ready to go,. No mud. Give this place a try and support the efforts of Coos County locals to provide a quality, safe, location for family and friends. I going to buy a membership next time and look forward to going back.
