Horrible night. Quiet hours 10-6 at camp but no one cares. It was loud as hell till 11:30. Neighbors disrespectful same as ATV riders. Campsites itself not private at all, ppl from other camp walked across our camp all day all night just to go to restroom. So if you want the most disrespectful, loud , not private camp go here. I can put 1 star only for everything around, nature, dunes , ocean , but other then that just horrible

Laid back campground. Easy walk to salt lake. Easy drive in. Our campground was sand and my son loved it. Cement picnic tables. There was a lot of little trash at our site when we arrived but the Easy access to ocean and lake made up for that. Cute ground squirrels and birds. Glad it had a separate area for just beach people. It was cool to see the crabs in the water. Most atv people were really chill and went straight to atv area but one group was endlessly reving in the campground. Very annoying. 5 miles from Cape Kiwanda (almost thought I was in California) which was absolutely gorgeous and surrounded by expensive and delicious restaurants. Bring all groceries before you arrive.

Great spot. Killer views. Nice and clean grounds. Camp spot is a great size for RVs and toys and all the rest. Views for days.

Awesome place to just have fun! Great camping friendly staff everyone is just having a good time. Sand dunes are spectacular! Beautiful scenery in every corner of the camp grounds! Definitely do suggest getting there before or after the weekend because it fills up quick every weekend!

Quiet time in the campground is at 10pm but you can ride from 6am until midnight so assume quiet time is at midnight but not really enforced well. I would not recommend this campground unless you are riding and can appreciate the noise.
Bring your own. there was a guy on a trailer selling wood stacks about 1 mile before the gate.
Talked with the people in hebo. And they are not sure if they will extend the reservation past Sept. 30. Should know more by the end of Sept.
Yes. The website lists all applicable rules and regs. It is a very ATV friendly campground.
Almost all are good. Usually all pretty close to a bathroom. You do have to reserve at recreation.gov though
No firewood available at the campground but there is a store right down the road that has some.
There is a section that is first come first serve and usually not a problem on those dates.
20$/night, or $5 for sand camping and Derrick Rd.
There is def some of that, but im not looking at the map. Theres the rv lot, on the right as you come in, thats all paved spots with a strip of sand along the perimeter for fires and the kids to play, or theres the day lot down at the end. Otherwise you gotta drag your trash brother!
