Monica Ao was the best person there to work with on a mortgage. She took the time to answer all my questions and when it came to getting a rate quote she was by far the lowest I've found. I was happy to say I found someone who explained it all to me in a way I could understand and I got the best deal.

We moved from California, too. There was no problem. Just not many branches.

I have a bank account in the Philippines from GSIS apparently it is international with ties to union bank. How does one activate the bank card? Can I do it online or do I need to visit a branch?

They are two separate entities. Union Bank can only activate cards associated to them.
