Last year was amazing. This year they had some pretty severe staffing issues. If you’re charging $300 per night, enticing guests with breakfast and dinner included, have enough kitchen and serving staff. Was like about 2 hour wait for breakfast. Your front desk person did not know how the outdoor hot tub works. We found out on our own, in the dark, which is fine but they should know that. Then if you add on the very impatient other guest complaining, which is honestly why waiting was difficult, we don’t mind waiting.. we just wanted to get out of there. Dinner quality is good though. Anyway, Jaimie.. you’re very cool. Thanks for being a great server.

To stay or not to stay — pros & cons!!. Breakfast and dinner is included with your stay. Personally thought the food was delicious as I love prime rib dearly. Service is slower as everyone is struggling so be patient. They offer some fabulous and expensive meals that make the cost of lodging here well worth it. If you do not plan to use your meal vouchers then I would recommend you look elsewhere. I read some negative reviews on the staff and management but did not see the issue. They were responsive and pleasant for us. They answered all questions and helped us tremendously. The servers were also very friendly every meal. The guests are very kind as they told us they visit frequently and chatted our ear off. Sadly the biggest complaint was my room:( The hotel was very outdated and old. While on a beautiful lot overlooking mountains the beds were full of stabbing springs. The air conditioning blew hot air around a dusty room. The only benefit to fanning yourself in the room was you could sometimes swat the flies that had gotten in. Not a big deal for a few nights but any long trip your back might be hurting! PS we did bring a dog so it is quite possible we got a lower end room due to the fact we brought an animal and the main rooms are of higher quality. I also slept much better after a day of hiking and eating. I was too tired to notice the uncomfortable bed!

Kitchen is very slow. Over cooked filet. Oscar was a wad of flavored bread the size of a teaspoon. Stodgy breakfast potatoes with undercooked bacon. Seafood dishes were excellent. Very expensive drinks with friendly service. Did I mention all six meals were very slow to arrive?

Be AWARE. I am not one to write reviews but the manager/ wedding planner Heidi was the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever met in my life. To spend that much money on a place, was not given the dinner reservation slip I was promised for myself and my 7 year old son. The waitress very kindly said no problem we’ll take your room number and figure it out. What do you know, 10 minutes later she came back and was told by the manager not to serve us dinner. Refused to feed my child after I had paid for everything. You could tell the waitress felt horrible. This woman was the most condescending unprofessional person I’ve ever met. You would think for the amount of money they got from the wedding would create an environment for decent customer service. We were kind and patient with the staff as you can tell they are very understaffed and overworked. But unless you are an old rich white man let me tell you Heidi wants nothing to do with you but your money. She only cared about the “regulars” that come to the lounge at night. Well… then DONT host weddings. From the moment I walked in to that place she was horrible. Never have I ever experienced this, and never have I been treated so horribly. It was to the point I felt so uncomfortable in her presence I didn’t even spend my second night there with my son we left to stay with family. North Conway is a beautiful place but aside from their view stay away from this manor. Breakfast would have been better at McDonald’s to be quite honest, they talk up the food too much because it’s really quite mediocre. Bread was dry pizza was soggy. This place is seriously overestimated, don’t waste your time or energy in this environment.
