Wonderful place with a nice front porch. The room was spacious and we'll equipped. Downtown is a short walk away.

The 1 start reviews are no sense. This little hotel was a house converted into rooms. The place in not dated at all, it maintains caracter. Very quiet , relaxing yet steps away from everything. The host was super nice and gave us a very spacious, room dog friendly for us and our dogs. The room was impeccable clean, bathroom updated with shower , tub, and anything you need. Bed was comfy and the room overall was perfect to rest before a long day hiking. I appreciated so much the flexibility and easy process to book this place with dogs. It’s very hard to find something that allows dogs with out crazy fees and restrictions. The fee was super fair and clearly they do an excellent job cleaning it. I will recommend this place for solo c couples or families 100%. Or I play the fee if not happy πŸ˜ƒ . Thank you so much for that perfect night!

Wow! Called to book a standard queen room for a weeknight after backpacking and camping in the mountains in the rain, and was allowed to check in immediately before 11 am since there happened to be rooms ready. Also amazed to discover they’d generously upgraded me to one of the cottage king suites with a fireplace and ginormous bathtub, probably because occupancy was low on a weeknight. The room was big, comfy and clean with plenty of space to spread out and repack stuff; the bathroom modern, bright and clean. The general vibe of the room furnishings is a very-best-case-scenario of what you might imagine when you think of a NH inn; people who have provided feedback suggesting rooms be β€œupdated” might be happier in a corporate chain hotel with functionless decorative bed runners and mass produced wall art featuring abstract squiggles. With the windows closed, also surprisingly quiet considering the location in the center of downtown and the fact that trains blast horns whenever they depart the station across the street. Will definitely return!
