The complete indifference to provide any sort of customer satisfaction is actually impressive. Fall of ‘21: Purchased a shed and was told the rental truck to bring said shed home was first come, first serve, which is completely fine. What wasn’t fine was coming back after putting the shed on hold after purchasing it to find out I was first in line for customers, but couldn’t rent the truck. I was told by the customer service associate that the manager needed the vehicle and they couldn’t rent it to me. At that point I “returned” the shed that never left the building to go to another location to buy the shed. Turns out the parts of the shed didn’t fit together, and I needed to actually return the shed after renting the truck from the other location for a second time. Today I bought a chainsaw. I unboxed the saw, put in the fluids, and started it up. The saw didn’t idle correctly, with the chain spinning at full blast when it should be idle. I adjusted the screw to the point of it falling out, put it back in as loose as I could, and it still was at full speed on the chain when it should be idling. I called the manufacturer, and they said a tool rental tech at The Home Depot could fix the carburetor with a tool they have. This location doesn’t have a tool rental center, so I called the Riverside location in Portland. The phone rang and rang and rang so I called The Home Depot customer service and had them call the Riverside store to get someone on the phone. The associate told me they don’t have a tech that could fix it, it would cost me $30 to have them take it in, and that I could just return it at the Windham location. I just returned the saw to the Windham location, full of fluids that they’ll drain in the garden center. I’ll be out the extra hour of travel to get there and back, the fluids, and the gas in my car, but at least I know I’ll never spend another dime at any of The Home Depot’s stores. I’d rather eat a bowl of thumb tacks than waste my time and money and sanity with this store. Save your time, save your money, and save yourself from the hassle you’ll most likely endure having to double-check and return any product you purchase from this dumpster fire.

Have been trying to replace a door for 2 months now. Finally had someone come out and measure about a month ago however anytime I got into the store to order my door apparently the only person who can help me is always on break and will be “gone awhile”. Will NEVER buy anything from them again.
