The people were helpful. The U-Haul app is inconsistent at best (slow to load or not at all), had to restart twice. Overall the cargo van rental was fine. The windshield was dirty on the inside and it made it difficult and sometimes dangerous to drive when the sun glare hit.

I have had worst experience at this U haul. Tom Serson was person and I didn't asked him to close my transaction. He accused me of stealing U haul and closed out my transaction without my permission. He charged my card on file $540 extra and 2 days extra instead of one day. He was extremely rude and I do not recommend anyone to use this location.

June 23,2022 rented a box truck. Left lot, drove as far as Presumpscott Street, Portland. Engine light came on, and truck stopped running. Tried calling roadside service. 20 min wait just to talk to someone. Tried starting truck, success but not for long. Drove for a bit, studdered and stopped. Called roadside service again, waited and disconnected. Truck started, drove a few feet, stopped. Called roadside assistance again, wait time 20 min. never able to speak to anyone, Truck started for the last time, Drove a few feet, stopped. Called roadside assistance, AGAIN. No luck. Locked the truck, left it where it was, got a ride back to Marginal Way. Counter rep very rude. Said it was our responsibility to call roadside assistance. Told him we did, 4 times w/o luck. Gave him the address of truck location, and we left. Will never use UHAUL again.

On May 11, 2022, at 3 pm, I rented a box truck from this location. After driving it in Marginal Way, I noticed that the vehicle was not pulling as it should be. I decided to go back and ask a question the customer service. As I was looking for a space to park, I saw an employee wearing a U-Haul polo shirt standing in the middle of the road. She was raiding her hands; I assumed she said, "what"? I stopped, but she was on the passenger side, so I tried to open the window to hear what she was saying. I could hear her screaming in her loud voice, " Open the window." As I was looking for the automatic window button, she came to my side, banging on the window and screening OPEN THE WINDOW, WHATS WRONG WITH CAR?" I was shocked. Why would she shout at me like that? Before I responded to her, she "SPEAK ENGLISH." Now, this racial discrimination, I talked to her in English when I booked the vehicle inside. After harassing me, she took off and went inside. There was an employee nearby; when I got out of the vehicle, he asked me what was going on? Did he encourage me to call the President? I went inside, but I didn't see the female employee. I explained everything to a male employee, and he was sorry. He came out and helped me with the question I had. He gave me a card to call the in charge, which has not returned my multiple calls. PLEASE, RESPECT EVERYONE WITH PREJUDICE. As I mentioned, I have been using this place for years; I have never seen something like this. STOP RACISM.

They are the but very limited at this site. They cater more to the folks that don't have enough room in their apartments.
