Maybe I accidently walked into the wrong post office, or walked in on the right day at the right time, but I did not experience the same as the other posters. It was clean and free of clutter. The gentleman working while I was there on the morning of 06/27/2022 was very amiable and helpful.

Lady at the front desk was extremely rude to the man in front of me. Kept on raising her voice her voice at him for being confused about a package he wanted to ship. I had to leave because I could not stand there any longer.

Always friendly, place is clean. Loses a star because always understaffed and also because the room is set up poorly so the line for service always gets in the way of foot traffic going through the area.

I believe the post office does not offer safety deposit boxes. I've never seen any advertising for them. I think only banks have safety deposit boxes. I can understand the confusion, since the personal mail boxes you can rent do look similar to safety deposit boxes.
