I would like to say I am shocked but I really am not, calling them since 9 am and when they do try to connect the call gets disconnected!!!! This is something that is chronic at this office!!! Maybe you should get your phone line’s repaired!!! Love the fact that my case worker screws up my case every month put my bank account in the negative but get to go home early!!! Then to top it off, someone finally answers his name is Chad and this is not the first time I have spoken to Chad he is very rude!! I told him that I have called a couple of times but it get disconnected!! Chad tells me that’s because there is only 2 people answering the phones and 1000’s of people calling! I explain that I did not get a check so he looks into it! I also explain it’s not the first time and my bank account is in the negative and I need money because I need to see a dentist! Chad says it’s going to take several days till I get my check, so I say what am I supposed to do now? I can’t pay my bills my bank account is in the negative I need a dentist? He says he has never helped anyone that is so ungrateful after helping them, and hangs up on me! Well that’s your job and your company messed up!! Seriously I paid in to social security for years and I am sick I just had surgery!!! Chad is a very rude person!

one nice woman Barbara-all the rest are not friendly and cannot help when you call about an issue. Using COVID as an excuse for not meeting in person. Covid or no COVID-social security is still there and alive!! No more excuses!!

Don't know I waited on the phone for over an hour. I ended up walking in and waiting there for over an hour. It's a mess
Put it in drop box located in rear of building 230 commerce way directly across the st from 215 commerce way. Go to rear of building 230 commerce way and when you come in rear entrance turn left into room and a guard is sitting next to the drop box
Hi Sandy, I was unable to reach them by phone as well, so I drove in there yesterday and learned that their offices are currently under reconstruction and staff are not yet back in many locations from covid. The Portsmouth offices are temporarily located across the street from their normal location. Good luck!
You need to call to schedule an appointment in advance, but yes they are open. They are open for paperwork drop off as well, however the main door is only able to open via the security guard inside.
When I called them, they told me I had to make an appointment. The earliest appointment I could make was about 3 weeks out. I'd recommend calling to find out if things are different. Cheers.

Call then they will make one as soon as next available. But I found it quicker to go right down there. I'm still waiting on Thier response. Takes forever. I call and watch my blog everyday.
