Wonderful old theatre, great staff and volunteers, seats were comfortable. Patrons should be encouraged to get their snacks and drinks before the show or during an act break. Sound system could have been better. The opening act's voice was often el sotto and I had trouble understanding his speech. The main act's voice was whistling and sometimes reduced so treble needed toning down and volume increased.

Nice old theater ,good sound & nice staff ...Good parking options & easy to find . Also some of the fanciest restrooms you will ever encounter . I Would highly recommend for a night out in a nice New Hampshire venue.

My wife and I had an excellent experience last night at a concert held at the Music Hall. The venue last night was two acts starring Randy Armstrong and Volker Nahrmann performing with their Beyond Borders ensemble with the opening act being the local group the Soggy Po Boys (one of our favorites). Both groups joined midway through the performance in a tribute to jazz legend Dizzie Gillespie. Sound quality was excellent, the staff were super friendly, drinks well done and reasonable. And yes the bathrooms are inspired and clean. My one complaint is the seats could do a bit of updating (a bit narrow). Think Fenway in the cheap (or no so cheap) seats. Still it was a magical night and worth all five stars. Go catch an act there if you can!

Beautiful inside and out. Friendly staff and very fair prices for the drinks!

We have done some live podcast recordings, but not radio plays specifically. You might try WSCA 106.1 Portsmouth Community Radio. They broadcast some classics, but they were (pre-pandemic) recording new ones there, I believe! - Monte
It is 2.5hrs with intermission!
No. These are all streaming through a browser or mobile app.
No parking specific to the Music Hall. Park on street or in parking garages
We don’t have it on the schedule currently, but we hope to get it soon (it’s definitely one that we SHOULD be screening)!
He's spoken in the past, so there's always a chance! We do not have anything scheduled with him currently, though.
At this time, we don't have any live shows scheduled for those dates, but check back and keep an eye on our calendar. New shows are added all the time!
Yes, it’ll be screening sometime in the middle of May! Final schedule will be out soon.

Hi Cordelia, If you mean "Tea with the Dames" it's not likely that we'll bring it back, as we showed it recently. But do keep an eye on our Extraordinary Cinema series for any new Judi Dench films! Thank you.
It really depends. Some artists have a very strict rule, others don't what show were you thinking about?
We sell gift certificates. Give our box office a call to learn more: 603.436.2400. Thanks! Brittany
If you mean the AmEx, Visa or Mastercard gift cards, yes. But when I searched there were a bunch of different CMA gift cards, so I’m not sure that is what you’re referencing. Monte
