I had a two-night stay and the cabin had everything I needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the condition of the property was very clean and tended to inside and out. I loved the dark night skies and understand the draw for those who love stars. The area us ideal for birders during the season. For both those activities, the location is ideal. My visit was to see family who gave me a tour of Cave Creek Canyon. Cave Creek Canyon is a beautiful and spectacular close-up view of the mountains. We saw many deer and a turkey, as well as plenty of bird populations that are not what I know in my mid-west home. All in all a really nice place to visit and a place I will return to.

Great spot for exploring Portal area and Chiricahua Monument. Quiet, private, clean and had great kitchen and washer/dryer. Owners had a really good welcome book put together with everything you need to know about gas and food, etc. Will definitely book here again.

We have stayed here for a month and have decided to stay longer because we are enjoying the facilities so much. We have an RV and have hydro, sewer and amazing wifi. Laundry facilities are also available. We are enjoying being the only RV here, it's like having a park all to yourself. The views of the mountains are 5 star and sunrises and sunsets just never fail to give us those postcard photos. There are many birding opportunities nearby and the community of Rodeo has some charming shops and cafes. The hosts are very accommodating and have made every effort possible to make our stay enjoyable. We will not hesitate to come back next year.
