After our long drive from Minneapolis we were greeted by a polite and helpful host and promptly given the code to the Pine cottage. So cute from the exterior with its nicely furnished porch. We ditched our luggage for a quick walk around the grounds. A lovely, little fast moving creek runs through the grounds of this cute rustic instagram type resort. A well furnished deck over a pond where you can relax and fish or canoe. A pretty little spot right on the creek for two. A pool that we never used and some playground equipment up front. Back at the Pine cottage we made coffee and it was the worst we had ever tasted. We quickly figured it must be the water. Made a new pot with bottled water and problem solved. The water is very hard and smells like iron which made for some quick showers. The cottage was furnished with the typical sturdy, semi comfortable furniture I except to find at a small resort. The cottage was decorated in a minimal style that I prefer. The kitchen table was pretty bad, bizarrely low with two chairs that don’t push in all the way thus taking up space and once painfully stubbing my toe on. The bed was comfortable. The cottage was very dark, it only had two windows in the front and is the only cottage without a creek view. We didn’t do much cooking during our four day stay but really could have used a pot holder. We stayed during the week and it was mostly quiet. The resort was close to lots of activities and parks. Staff were available and helpful. Resort and cottage were clean and well maintained. The cottage was reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay here in the beautiful Poconos.

We stayed here for the first time and totally enjoyed it! We have been coming to the Poconos for many years, and we are so glad to have found Magnolia. We chose the garden cottage - it was spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with supplies, the sheets were soft and comfortable, and the deck/porch was perfect with peaceful views. We enjoyed our private fire pit each night. Walking the grounds was so tranquil, we fed the fish and chickens and strolled the wooded paths. The staff was very nice and helpful - they were kind enough to give us an early check in, left fresh eggs for us from the resident chickens, recommended local shops, and answered any questions we had. Can’t wait to come back!

Getting married at Magnolia was like getting married in a fairytale... The scenery is magnificent and transports you to a magical place. The food was amazing. And the best part was the wedding coordinator, Cheyenne. She was such a dream to work with ; so attentive, so kind, so caring, and truly loves her couples/will do anything to make their day perfect. Our wedding was 9/25/21; we rented the entire site for the weekend so all our closest family and friends could stay. It was the perfect weekend, everyone loved every second of it. I cannot recommend Magnolia enough!!!

The perfect disconnected birthday getaway. A blend of romantic and family oriented! My husband surprised me with a birthday trip to the “love shack” with our kiddos. It had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and they supplied us with everything we needed. If your dreaming about a quiet getaway where you can get a bubble bath, fire and listen to the stream in peace- this is it.

It is pet friendly. But my stay was not pleasant because of the curry odor in my cabin
