Thank you to the RN that triaged me she was able to guide me, even though I messed up the time for my appointment with my primary they still squeezed me in even at the end of the day. I was seen by my primary Allison Tims who continues to be an exceptional provider. She knew that I needed my appointment completed by a deadline and I was so impressed by her quick thinking. She got me all set to leave the country for two years. Thank you!!

I've been going here regularly since it opened in 2015, they're just ok. My biggest complaint is the front desk that does the scheduling is a mess. They're occasionally rude and make mistakes often. On numerous occasions I've shown up to my scheduled appointment only to find out it was canceled and rescheduled without my knowledge. No one called or left me a message to let me know it had been canceled or rescheduled. I've learned that everytime I must make a phone call to confirm my appointment time and date prior to my arrival. Other than that Churn Creek Health Care tries really hard to meet your medical needs. This place will do for now, there's not many options in Redding.

Please do not go here they do not care about you. I was doing everything right but I work 6 days a weeks and was trying to get my meds for a month straight due to the doctor and I couldn't get it the pharmacy in me we're sitting there going back and forth realizing that it was the doctor's fault trying to get a hold of the doctor all they do is say they're trying but sit there and do nothing say they call you and have no calls now that I'm pregnant I'm trying to set up just an appointment for that and the lady said okay you got to give me one second and then hung up on me

I have been going here for YEARS and it seems most of these bad reviews come from people who think the doctor's office is a made to order service. More than likely, you're not smarter than them, just listen. I'm also unclear on how so many people are "wasting money" here since this is a Partnership only facility. If it's a long drive, choose a facility closer to your house, or call for a ride, Partnership provides that. Stop complaining, you have options. I have always been treated with kindness and care at this facility, and the staff does their best in these COVID situations, right now.

Questions & Answers

Can you sign up for a primary care physician there?

Yes. The clinic only takes Medical and or Partnership. For a primary care physician you would need to be assigned to Churn Creek Healthcare as you Primary clinic.

who are the doctors here?

Pat Wilcox, though i don't know their names, they are all amazing. Sweetest nurses too.. and as far as medical help I've had a great exprience every time.

Will they see you if you have no insurance and no money or would one be better off just going to the ER?

You can go to a clinic that accepts Medi-Cal/Partnership for urgent care, tell them you have not yet applied to Medi-Cal, and they should give you an application. If they don't you can apply for it online and Medi-Cal will retroactively cover medical bills up to three months prior to the day you apply, as long as you request it when you apply.

Can I email my Primary care doctor?

Tom LaCorte | Aug 20, 2019

Yes as long as you have partnership and or medical only. But for a primary you partnership must be assigned to Churn Creek as your PCP
