Absolutely terrific customer service. John and his family helped me in a very big way this Memorial Day weekend. Drove two days from Iowa to take my wife to her hometown for the summer in our Motorhome. Had very problematic water issue that was going to cause big changes if not for his help. No appointments available and was not expecting them to help right away. Surprisingly they said if I I could get it there by 1 o’clock that day and it was something simple he would get me on my way, if bigger problem then would have to return. What was causing a big issue, he found right away and got me fixed up and was very thorough and patient! Can’t thank them enough! A. J. From Iowa

This place is great. John is honest and trustworthy. We bought a camper from his in 2020 and had him do all of it's service and then bought a different one and still have him do the service on it. Wonderful team here for sure!

I’m only writing this so that it doesn’t happen to someone else. We had a tree go through the roof of our new camper a year ago. We called several places, the owner of this place was on the phone with me for several minutes to explain what he could do for us. He was very friendly, we thought he was our guy. As soon as the camper was dropped off, his tone completely changed. He was short, didn’t have time to discuss much with us and had to be reminded to cover the hole (had told us initially that he would immediately take care of it) as it was going to rain. Then when we stopped in to go over the damage, he explained that it was extensive. He showed us damage that just wasn’t there, like the ceiling being dropped and for the life of us we could not see what he was talking about. When the insurance guy came, he went over the “extensive” damage with him. The camper was ultimately deemed a complete loss. This meant a big loss financially for us. The exact moment the insurance man called my husband to explain the loss of the camper, the owner called me and asked to buy it. For pennies mind you. We started getting the feeling that the owner was sketchy and decided to take it elsewhere. He then charged us over $600 for storage. Our camper wasn’t there for storage, it was there to be fixed. He has a huge empty lot, come on. We didn’t mind paying for him to assess it, but storage??? We paid, because we wanted out. The next place we took it, called the guy’s bluff. Our camper was quickly and easily fixed. No other damage than the initial damage that my husband and I could see and were aware of. I would be very leery of taking my camper to this place. He tried taking advantage of our young family. Tried buying the camper from us for pennies, for which he would have only fixed the actual damage and sold it for a huge profit. Glad we went with our instincts on this one.

5/4/21 John and Andi were good to work with on my 2009 small Class C rv. It needed a variety of small repairs and replacements, as well as some evaluation and estimates for bigger problems. They were willing to discuss the possible approaches with me, were able to give me an appointment within a couple of weeks, and cost was reasonable and very well itemized on the final bill. I would recommend Coastal RV Service in Topsham, ME.
