I have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime. It’s not generally a process I enjoy. I have also never owned a Volvo. I had certain requirements for my purchase and it turned out that Volvo met all of them. I had lovely email conversations with Gabrielle and she set me up to meet with Chris. He met me at the door with a big smile and a friendly greeting. He had my car ready to test drive, showed me the basics and sent me on my way. I returned with some concerns so we explored other options. I found a vehicle online that was in transit and he said he would contact me when it came in. The whole process was easy, and the interaction was very laid back. A few days later I got a text saying when the car was due in, and he communicated with me over a holiday weekend on his days off. That Tuesday he had my car ready for a test drive first thing in the morning. I had limited time as I had to work that afternoon. I test drove it and knew it was “the one.” We sat and discussed pricing, trade in and financing and it all went smoothly. Soon I was in meeting with DJ to sign my paperwork. He was super fabulous to deal with and I enjoyed our chat. Next I got to sit in the car and learn it from Magan who I just loved. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. All involved were super aware of the time and that I had to leave by 2. I drove out of the lot at 2 on the dot. Chris and Magan and I have continued to have conversations and they are both so friendly, responsive and helpful. It’s by far the best buying experience I’ve ever had, hands down and I LOVE my car! I had the BEST car buying experience EVER! I had been online car shopping for quite some time and have been obsessed with the XC60 and it had to be white. I called ahead and went over just to look and test drive. Ralph met me outside and said the manager Rich asked him to help me. He had the car all ready for me to take for a ride. When I got back he asked me a few general questions and they appraised my trade in while I was out driving. The car was MORE than everything I was looking for and I was pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to afford it but much to my surprise Goodwin's Volvo had exceeded all my requests and within 45 minutes I was driving home in my new ride! Thank you ALL so much!

Got some warranty service here for my old Volvo; everyone was super nice, even though I wasn't actually spending any money! Great waiting room, really nicely set up for getting some work done while you wait. (Tables, coffee, outlets, wifi.)

My wife and I recently purchased a 2018 CPO V90 Cross Country at Goodwin's. As new parents, and a dog family, we knew we wanted a V90; I'd already been car shopping online for many hours. Although there's a dealership closer to our house, Goodwin's had the closest stock of V90s. Bruce Henning came out, introduced himself, and was very kind to my family. Although we arrived during the last hour of business, he gave us a tour of the vehicle and even proposed a test drive. After talking it over at home, we decided to purchase the car we test drove. The dealership made the closing process very efficient. Although there were a few items we noticed when we got home, they we very responsive, made an appointment to address our concerns, and corrected them. I would strongly consider getting our next vehicle at Goodwin's and would recommend them to others.

What is the difference between used and certified pre-owned?

CPO vehicles go through a more rigorous inspection process and are backed by warranties directly from the factory. The vehicle must be less than 6 years old, have fewer than 75k miles and have a clean title.

Where will I pay taxes on my purchase?

You will pay taxes on your vehicle in the state in which you register the vehicle. Goodwin’s Volvo will provide the buyer with 14-day temporary plates.

Themes like comfort, utility, handling, functionality, tech features, blind spots, and the general driving experience can all be learned in a test drive.

Delivery means a member of the dealership is tasked with driving the vehicle to a requested destination. Delivery is offered for in-state purchases only (with few exceptions that are worked out on a case by case basis with the dealership).

Trade-in pricing can vary wildly because of many factors. The age of the vehicle, the total mileage, the condition of the vehicle, etc. In order to give a customer the most accurate assessment, the customer will need to allow our sales manager to appraise the vehicle in person. We do offer a few options for your convenience based on your level of need. 1) Call our sales team at 207-729-3369 and schedule an appointment to have the vehicle inspected by our sales manager.
