Definitely the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Sometimes you can just tell right away if they're focused on taking care of people and this was certainly the case. On a Monday evening, my crown popped out while flossing and part of my tooth came with it. Tuesday morning I called around different places in Augusta and many of them would not take dental emergencies if I wasn't an existing patient (I travel full time so I don't have a particular dentist I always go to). Gentle Family Dentistry set me up with an appointment for that afternoon. When looking at the tooth, they recommended an extraction and putting in a dental implant, and set up the surgery for an hour later. That afternoon I was out the door with my new dental implant. Dr. Kwon and the entire staff were very professional and friendly and explained all the steps, procedure, and risks clearly. They even gave me an estimate beforehand on how much it would likely cost. Really could not have asked for more transparency in the whole process. If you are in this area and considering dentists, I would highly recommend going here.

Just had my front tooth repaired by Dr. Kevin and Lexi… I am totally thrilled at the results! I chipped my front tooth 30 years ago and just lived with it, afraid any repair would make it look more obvious. I was so wrong! Dr. Kevin and Lexi have done what I thought was impossible! It looks perfect, both front teeth match and look better than it has in decades. I highly recommend their work. Amazing ability and amazing results!! Thank you so very much! 👍😁

I was extremely nervous about my first visit at GFD, because I am ashamed to say that it has been literal DECADES since I've had a cleaning. As soon as I walked in, I felt a lot more at ease! The office itself is bright, warm, and welcoming...and the staff even more so! My dental assistant, Katherine, was very patient taking my x-rays, and it wasn't easy for her...I am missing a few molars and this made it difficult for a few of the views she needed to capture. She reassured me that it was alright when she needed to redo a couple of them, and kept me laughing and smiling in between them all. Dr. Kwon is such a wonderful dentist! He was patient and kind, and very thoroughly answered any questions I had about my treatment plan. He gave me several options to choose from and didn't try to persuade me to take the most expensive route, just what I felt would work best for me...it was absolutely wonderful! My hygienist, Liz, was amazing! This poor girl had to deal with a mouth full of chompers that hadn't been professionally cleaned in 32 years...and she was patient and gentle as she did her work! Definitely hope to have her every time I visit from here on out! At checkout, I was greeted by Megan. She was sweet and knowledgeable, explaining my next few appointments to me in detail. It's great to be so well-informed about your medical care, and I left feeling so hopeful for the future of my smile! Oh, did I mention that they had actually squeezed me right in for my cleaning after my initial visit as they had a cancelation? If you are nervous about going to the dentist, especially because it's been a long time and you're afraid of being judged, Gentle Family Dentistry in Augusta is the place for you! I can promise you that you will have a wonderful experience with professionals who truly care.❤

Went in for my first appointment today and Nicole was fantastic - so patient and accommodating of my anxiety and we ended up laughing and having a great time. Weird to say I enjoyed a dentist appointment but here we are! The doctor was very knowledgeable and also gracious about my anxiety. Cannot recommend this place enough! Editing to add the two people I worked with to check in and pay were also super sweet and friendly and fantastic. Thank you for helping make a nervous experience so much better!
