I had been taking my dogs here for a couple of years and when I called to see if they would do a urine culture on one of my dogs I was basically being told they would not do anything for him until I got him his yearly checkup (which was not even 1 month past due). They told me they needed a current doctor patient relationship in order to help him. They had just seen him for a heartworm test a few months prior and changed his medication over the phone. I could not believe what was happening, they were actually going to refuse service until I paid for the checkup. It's like going to see your doctor and having them refuse to see you because you didn't get your checkup. One of the male veterinarians got super rude with me and almost wouldn't let me speak to someone else. I hate switching veterinarians, but this was too ridiculous to consider giving them our business again. They did eventually say they would do the urine culture, but I never saw it through because of that interaction.

Receptionist literally hung up on me. I’m still a bit shocked. I was told because my dogs were treated at the emergency vet that they couldn’t treat my dog. After some back and forth they all of a sudden weren’t taking new patients. Then she hung up on me.

Very kind, competent and professional staff. I have been bringing my cats here for years. Still thankful for the time they did a house call when my elderly cat was in crisis. Your furry friend will be in good hands.

Best practice around. The front desk staff is knowledgeable and most of them have been working there faithfully during the 17 years they have cared for my dogs. Twelve years ago I moved to a new residence in a town from whence I have to drive 50 minutes to get to Pine Tree. Are there vets in my town? Yep. I have had to bring urgent cases to them once or twice and that was enough. I would drive further if I had to.
