How completely unprofessional is this place. Seriously had an appt this morning to see an apartment that I made yesterday and you couldn’t bother to call and tell me it leases it befor I drove 40mins. Such a disappointment and unprofessional.

The only problem I have here is the fact it's not a non smoking apartment complex. I live on the third floor and on the first and second floor beneath me I have smokers who continue to smoke on their patios while it just pours into my apartment windows. It stinks up my apartment so opening the windows isn't really a option for me. The Heights needs to make this complex non smoking! 🚭

Really disappointed to find out, after nearly a week of waiting, that my husband and I would be denied purely from the fact that we have no rental history except through private renters. This isn't a federally protected reason to deny a tenant either... But what can you do? Things are difficult enough as it is in this world for people to try and get into a better situation without unnecessary rules that make it harder. Do you know the kind of people that won't have rental history? Students fresh out of college, homeless people, homeless Veterans, people being discharged from the military, and so on. So if you fall under this category I suggest you look elsewhere and save yourself the trouble of being led on only to get denied.

Some reviews written from tenants for any apartments must be taken with a grain of salt. I would like to post a genuine review from my experience, take it or leave it. My one bedroom apartment itself was nice, good size with amenities. Prices & move-in fees were comparable with anywhere in the metro area & its located has many conveniences. They gym & hot tub are open 24/7. Anywhere you live, there will be noisy neighbors, especially when your units share walls. With that being said, there were some issues I found living here. The office staff & property upkeep were poor. My unit was not cleaned & made ready before I moved in, I was told to just take care of it myself. Lack of snow plowing & shoveling created big problems. (I was concerned for my elderly neighbors let alone emergency personnel getting through the parking lot and walkways.) It was very difficult to to get around the complex anytime after a snowstorm & my car was stuck on several occasions. Make sure you keep your parking pass visible & do not back into a spot or you will be towed or booted. Have your guests park on the street as there are few visitor spaces. Renters have been threatened to pay for repairs for things like major plumbing problems. Also be aware that the spring brought a rodent infestation this year. Some of the problems I faced could have been easily fixed if the office staff was more on top of it. I understand other things were out of their control as well. However, I feel the management team could’ve shown more concerned for the safety & well being of the renters. After living here for year & ½, & knowing what I know now, I would look elsewhere.

The Heights will let you have a cat and certain breeds of dogs with a pet deposit. Service dogs are free, but require certification. Not just a DR's note
