During our 1 night stay we picked up countless construction nails out of the water, hooks and fishing line are littered everywhere, not to mention all the broken glass that sticks straight up out of the ground. Trash all along the beach. There is a resident homeless person who walks right through your camp site, will ask you for a ride and money, also no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. Heopenly said he lives at the lake. Yes it may look pretty from a distance but your kids can't play safely. Wear shoes at all times.

Good winter dry camping , not many campers stay, just be careful with the locals that show up drunk and steal your stuff, other than that the fishing for stocked trout is goos.
