Very relaxing. Loved having bird feeders with seed. Nice trails to walk. The casita was comfortable and stocked nicely with fresh pumpkin bread and condiments. Enjoyed a quiet evening with the fire in the kiva fireplace. Totally enjoyed.

This is a little paradise adjacent to the Gila National Forest. Each Casita is well furnished, the owners are extremely welcoming, and there are beautiful hiking trails on the property that also connect to the greater Gila area. There are great opportunities for bird watching, star gazing, hiking, nearby equestrian ranches, and visiting the National Forest/Wilderness. It's so beautiful and peaceful here, it feels like time stops while you're visiting.

The lady and I got out to a retreat in Silver City, New Mexico. We were welcomed by Becky and Michael to there lovely property and escorted to there private casitas. The Casitas de Gila is the perfect getaway away from everyone. We had plans to get out and see some of the historic sites. However, due to the rain and the comfort of the casita, we relaxed and enjoyed the nature we were presented with at the retreat. Most definitely going back with family if and when we are free to enjoy all the amenities of Casitas de Gila. Overall it’s an awesome getaway very private and social distance is highly respected. Most amazing place we have visited. Scenery breathtaking, casita was wonderful, very well stocked lovely open fire. Hot tub under the stars was literally out of this world! So peaceful no noise just the birds singing. Comfy bed and hot shower. Bliss
