I stopped by to see if there was vacant and the man that was working was very nice and said there was few rooms open so I told him ill run to the bank and be back. Few hours later I came back and I had my grandmother call and try to make a payment over the phone, once the call ended some lady showed up and told me to go up the road to a different hotel and didn't give me a reason why. I then asked her if I could pay cash instead and still refused my money. She was very rude and ignorant, ill be stopping by in the next few days to speak to the manager or owner.

I wish I could select less than one star. We travel a lot and I am very tolerant of cosmetic issues, but this place was awful for so many reasons. You drive up to your door with no windows on that side of the building. It looks like storage units. Walk in and it looks pleasant enough with a king bed, table, fridge, microwave, etc. Straight ahead you see curtains for a picture window and a door. Open the curtains to see a courtyard and big pool. But you can't open the door to go out that way. The room was roasting hot with a small ac unit piped in awkwardly. We cranked it to cold, but it threw off heat in the process. We only had decaf coffee, no bars of soap, the bath towels were glorified hand towels. It was so incredibly hot all night that we barely slept and I woke up with heat induced swollen and puffy face and bags under my eyes. The shower had poor water pressure. We had been to farm stands and bought food that needed refrigeration. The freezer was working,so I loaded the fridge when we got there. Come to find out the fridge did not work and I am hoping that the $50 in food didn't go bad and give us food poisoning! The TV didn't even come in clear. This was my worst ever hotel experience!

This place is conveniently located. There is a nice tavern that was part of the Black Horse Lodge but it is now under new ownership. There is a diner close to the Lodge and a little antique shop across the road from it. This facility is older but the room was clean and spacious as well as having a front and back door to your room. The free breakfast was nothing to brag about but hey, it's free.

I was very happy with my overnight stay. Mitch, at the front desk, went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. He is a gem! Although the hotel is older, my room was very clean. I liked that the rooms had two doors with small patio out the back. I got a non-smoking room but my husband is a smoker so he really enjoyed the patio. The bed was very comfortable. Two sinks made getting ready in the morning a breeze for two people. Tons of channels on the TV. Decent water pressure. Standard continental breakfast with waffles, yogurt, cereal, and pastries. There is a pool on site but I didn't check it out. The on-site restaurant is closed permanently (I think) but the Italian place (recommended by Mitch) down the street was really good. I wish the dryer would have been working but other than that, I had a fantastic stay. I will definitely stay here again.
