Manzano's is terrific - the setting is peaceful and the owners John and Barb are wonderful folks. We came expecting to spend a month or so in our camper while we looked for a house in Silver City. That month ultimately turned into more than three. During that often stressful period for us, John, Barb, Karen and the other people at the park, many of them repeat visitors, were kind and helpful. The weekly, free delicious BBqs, cooked by John, were fun. The park is clean, surrounded by nature, convenient to local attractions, and full of lovely folks. Highly recommend.

We've been on the road for more than two months, staying at a mix of public and private campgrounds. Manzano's is the nicest place we've stayed. The site is away from the highway. That and the clientele make it a very quiet spot. The sites are separated by a buffer of juniper(?) trees that provide privacy while not obscuring the sun. The entire place has a crushed stone road and walking surface, which keeps down the dust, weeds and burrs. All the sites I saw have stone masonry walls around the site and around the utilities - very nice. The utilities were very well done, The residents, a mix of short term and seasonal people, were very nice - a very good atmosphere. There is only one bathroom, but an occupied bathroom was not a problem while we were there. THe laundry looked good, and there was The owners were very friendly. While we were there, the owners put on a BBQ with brisket, ribs, corn, potatoes, and mac 'n cheese. Desserts were pot luck, and delicious. I shamlessly stuffed myself. Everything was excellent! Not a normal occurrence - we were very lucky to arrive when we did - but it speaks to the dedication and friendliness that the owners exude. and creates a very amiable community spirit for the people there. If you are traveling through or staying in Silver City. This is the place!

Recently stayed there for two weeks. Great little RV park. Owners John and Barbara were so friendly and helpful! Every Saturday, they have a free cookout for park guests. Cant say enough good things about Manzano's
