I stood in line, ordered my food with no tomato. Was told i couldn’t omit the tomato so i told him I didn’t want it with tomato. I asked for a plain bagel with cream cheese and i was told to get back in the line, which was ridiculous. They were out of house bread. Out of so many items. Dont bother going there not woth it.

There has been a dramatic reconstruction, which is lovely in appearance, but this new animal should now be called Little Rich Dog cafe. I’ve been coming here on & off for years when visiting family. Tragically, it now seems evident that the reign of gentrified hipsterdom has stretched well past Portland and into Brunswick. You will not be able to obtain a normal iced coffee here anymore. At all. What you can get (and the only thing you can get if you want plain iced coffee: is a 6-buck cold brew. <six dollars>. For a small. And you can drink it either inside, in an ongoing pandemic, or take it to your car, but you will no longer be able to drink it under umbrellas on the sidewalk because those are now gone even on a scorching day. Not quite sure what the 5 or more employees behind the counter were doing the day I was there besides informing me that cold brew (and concurrent obscene pricing) is the new normal, but the only shade you’ll get is if you ask why. Lastly, guys, skip the giant "recommended masking" sign on the door if precisely zero percent of your staff observe it.

This place is really nice. Very nice and well curated interior set up. Good drink and coffee selections. Delightful pastries and sandwiches. They do events here during the month too. The other night was comedy night. It was a great night and the comics were very worth seeing. Admittedly I was one of them so I might be biased.

Extremely disappointed with the prices and quality of food/coffee of this establishment. I paid $14 for this "BLT" that has less than one full piece of barely cooked bacon (see photo), and then was charged an additional $.75 to put one tablespoon of oat milk in my burnt tasting coffee. The charge to have non-dairy milk should only apply to when you put it in an espresso beverage (ie- having 12 OUNCES of oat milk in a latte vs ONE TABLESPOON in a regular cup of coffee). Really unfortunate for being the only local coffee shop around, and the only spot for sandwiches while Big Top Deli is closed (who charges $6.75 for a BLT hooked the f up with bacon). I am not one to give bad reviews (this might even be my first), I only hope this warns potential customers or gives incentive to this business to make their product worth the money they charge.
