I would highly recommend this facility. They took my call after hours gave me plenty information on goats goat raising, goat care, what I would need to be a suitable parent, they clearly care about what they’re doing and who they’re selling to it’s not just turning out animals for profit. I would highly recommend buying or conducting any business with this facility

I’ve been a The Dancing Goat Customer for years. Its owner Pam always goes above and beyond to make sure all her Customers are happy and satisfied providing us with products of outstanding quality. The love and care how Pam treats all her animals is reflected in the products delivered to her Customers. Pam is always looking for ways, being present in several Saturday markets, to make sure that residents accross the Tampa Bay area have the opportunity to access The Dancing Goat products. How lucky we are in having the Dancing Goat as a local Farmer in the Tampa Bay area. Keep up the great work!

What a delightful tour and tasting! Pam was generous with her knowledge and hospitality. Had a great time feeding baby goats and eating cheese. Highly recommend!!

I've been buying eggs from this farm nearly every week (at the Saturday Morning Market in St Pete) for years. They are so much better than store-bought: fresh, tasty, real. I've bought goat's milk, and it is 1000 times better than anything from the supermarket. The feta cheese & chèvre is also fabulous! I recently visited the Farm, and was so impressed by the treatment of the animals- a ton of work, and love, goes into this urban farm. I like to know where my food comes from, and that it's created cleanly, sustainably, and humanely. Dancing Goat Farm is a gem in this community.

They sell at the St. Pete Saturday Market every week (it will be in the soccer arena parking lot starting in October). When you stand in front of the band area, just walk a straight line back through food area and their stand is right there.
It is always a good idea to preorder so you don't get there and it be sold out!
Our chickens are kept in large pens for their protection. We have bobcats, panthers and hawks in the yard all the time and they love chicken! The chickens have access to bugs and insects and are supplemented with lots of fresh veggies, red hibiscus and bananas.
Yes - if you are wanting to hatch them, please let me know and we hand gather especially for that purpose.
No, I am sorry we do not.
Yes. Quarts, halves and gallons. Also a variety of goat milk products from kefir, yogurt, cheeses and goat milk soap.
Yes they do sell raw goat milk, raw kefir, yogurt, etc. The milk is available in quart, half gallon, and gallon sizes. Not sure on all prices. They're at Saturday morning market in St. Pete as well as having farm market hours at the Dancing Goat Dairy (12502 Maverick Court, Tampa - Westchase area) on Sundays 1-4 , and on Wednesday from 3-8. Great farm and great goat milk products! You could contact them by e-mail listed on Facebook for prices and to preorder for pick up at the farm.
Why don't you ask them?? There is always something to do on a farm.
We occasionally have young males available. Our females are retained for replacement of those who age out on the milk line.
Goats are not grazers like cows, they are foragers and consume from the 12 -18inch level. Their diet consists of 95% grass and perennial peanut hay and less than 1% body weight of a locally custom mixed grain at milking time (per the Weston A Price guidelines). They get bananas from our home grown trees as supplements, as well as red hibiscus and moringa. Our goal is to produce 25% of their feed right on the property! It is getting there!
Check her Facebook page The Dancing Goat for times she is at the market and for the days she is on the farm.
At certain times of the year.
We try to give good customers service to everyone. The best way to reach the farm is via email or Facebook messenger. We are a working farm and unable to answer the phone all the time. I generally eat my lunch at the desk (or dinner) and answer then.
We are open on Wednesdays 3-8pm at the farm by preorder only.
It's a working farm so they don't usually do tours but they do have certain hours throughout the week were you can pick up products directly from the farm. You could probably find that information on their facebook page, email or by calling. There are two days a year (once in fall and once in spring) where they do "Farm Day". This is when the farm is open to the public for tours, meeting the animals and educational exhibits. They also do goat yoga with the baby goats but it's not at the farm, I forget the information for that but again you could go on their Facebook page, email or call.
Why don't you ask them? People here are random people not affiliated with the map locations.
They do love volunteers. On March 9th they do an open house thing. I have gone the last 2 years. I've learned so much! I suggest it.
The Dancing Goat does not sell baby rabbits.
No
Yes
Next Farm Day is March 14. 2020. Always in March and October each year.
