Chris from the Auburn area was awesome, he came out within about 20 minutes of us calling, and patched our flat tire. He was professional, friendly and fast. I was very pleased with our service, we have lived in other states where it took over an hour sometimes, over 2 hours, for AAA to come, we were utterly shocked when Chris was able to arrive so soon. We had to pay an extra $75 over the phone, to get service the same day that we bought our membership (we had lapsed in our membership since moving, and had to buy a new membership for this area), but I feel it was money well spent if this is the kind of pleasant staff they hire, and the great service they provide.

stranded for 2 days, 3 tow truck drivers in 2 days later after being stranded in 18゚ weather in snow,,, Triple A finally decides that they don't cover my vehicle after 5 years of coverage and left me out in the cold by myself with nothing. They do not care about people And were just fine with leaving me stranded in 18゚ weather for 2 days.

I’ve been a AAA member since I started driving, for 28 years. Yesterday, in Auburn, something broke in my emergency brake and left me with loose parts inside my brake rotor/drum. It was making a terrible noise when I moved the car so I thought it best to get towed home rather than risk more damage by driving home for an hour. Called AAA at 5pm to arrange a tow. I was told the truck would be there a little before 6. At 6 I received a call saying they had a hard time finding a driver but someone in Saco was towing to Lewiston and would then pick my car up. A little after 7 the driver called me and said he was on his way to Augusta to drop off and would pick me up after. This meant we would be waiting for probably another two hours. I ended up canceling the tow request. Since people are not allowed to ride in the tow trucks during COVID I had to arrange a ride from a family member an hour away. I wasn’t going to make them wait another two hours for the tow truck after they had worked all day and then drove an hour to Auburn to pick me up. I don’t understand why there were no local drivers available. The driver who called me said he was from New Hampshire. It wasn’t a snow storm day where every driver is busy pulling cars from ditches and accidents. Very unhappy AAA!!!

Questions & Answers

If we purchased a used vehicle from a private seller can the vehicle be towed to a garage less than 10 miles away, using our Triple AAA, Premier coverage?

Can I have my license renewed at AAA? And if so, can my eyes be checked there as well? Thank you.

No

My wife and I are members and thinking of a trip to Australia and New Zealand next year. What king of packages does AAA have. Please include RT airfare from Logan.

Unsure....I would contact AAA travel agent. They are very knowledgeable in creating a travel itinerary.
