Really nice campground, friendly hosts, big campsites tucked away from each other. Vault toilets - but the cleanest I've ever seen!

Clean, friendly, beautiful, spacious and did I mention clean? This place is absolutely wonderful! It's extremely quiet, while you do have neighbors the lots are spaced fairly apart. The bathrooms were in their own separate spot so no need to go throughout someone's site to reach them. And they were always clean. Hosts were a charm and did rounds several times a day. We saw a fair amount of wildlife but yes be wary of the rodents as with most outdoor camping spots. Easy to maneuver with a 35ft trailer and dually and great access to the Colorado trail. The spots come with a fire pit/grill as well as picnic tables. One for single spots and 2 for the double. We did get some service through T-Mobile, while it was a bit spotty it worked enough for calls, just in case you're wondering.

Quiet!! Beautiful campground. The pit toilets are super clean and not stinky. The hosts take great care of the whole place. You can get firewood for $7 a bundle at the check in point. Road up to the campground needs to be navigated with care. No guardrails. Don't speed. Lots of bikes in the road up from Durango. Be careful with your food and garbage as it is bear country.

The campsites are awesome! They are decently spaced and you have some privacy. However, be advised that the dirt road leading to the campsite is extremely dusty and washboard. That was the only drawback to the campground. I read one review that said the camp hosts would drive by all the time. That is true. I actually had one come to my campsite and advise me that generators can only be used during the daytime hours. I was running mine and told her that I was aware of that. She advised there were some complaints about people using their generators in the middle of the night. I told her it wasn't me and she understood. Restrooms are very clean, too.

No, we were there few weeks ago. Water spigots but no way to fill up RV.
It's like $25 a day but I'm not sure with the N.F. card
There are no showers in any of the San Juan National Forest campgrounds. You can find showers in some of local towns.
I think there is one at a station that also sells propane on the road south of town, east side of the road. I think it is a farm co-op, but I'm not sure of name.
Most all parks and forest access roads open May thru November actual dates vary depending on condition
$22/night o $11/night if you have the senior pass. There is an added charge of $12/night if you hook up to electric. Electricity is not at all sights.
Maximum stay 14 days then you're supposed to move at least 3 nautical miles but that is not always strictly inforced
They require reservations, I'd call in advance. They were one of the few still open with fire restrictions in place. No open fires.
Yes, as long as on leash.
