This is a neat little hot springs just off the side of the road outside of durango, there was a small pool you could sit in someone had built with rocks. The hot water comes right out of the top of the big colorful rock 🙂 it was very clean and well taken care of too

Cool hot spring right on the side of the road. When traveling from Durango to Silverton. Cool colors from the minerals in the water. Not so hot it will scald you. But be careful it makes the rocks slippery.

Quick road side attraction. Free, will spend maybe 5mins here unless you decided to be more adventurous there looked like there was a trail, but not sure. Bring boots, lots of mud. Water was warm, didn't smell that bad but was a hint of sulfur smell.

It's not everyday you see a hot spring located this close to the road. You pull off onto the highway shoulder and there's a small parking area but the spring is literally right there. There were such great colors from the red rock to cloudy pools of water. Be very careful because the area around the spring is wet, smooth and slippery. If you can make an extra 5 minutes on your trip through here, it's worth the effort.
