They have very nice things but.... The asset protection guy was staring at my boyfriend and I without being discreet. Then the cashier asked if we put anything in the luggage we were buying. What? After we payed, the asset protection asked for the copy of the receipt from the cashier. They need to be a little more discreet, my boyfriend and I felt a little wierd about shopping there. Next time I don't think I will pick this place for a good shopping experience. Very wierd!

I’ve been into this specific Ross a few times and each time I’ve went the employees at both the registers and working around the store have been super friendly. I definitely recommend going early rather than evening time because by that time customers have rambled through the store and have made a mess.So if you’re reading this as a customer please be courteous and put stuff back where it belongs.

I guess if anything has changed at this Ross Dress For Less located at Buffalo and Blue Diamond (since my last review), it's that the "Loss Prevention Team," located front and center as you walk into the store, are even more intrusive. Don't get me wrong, a store like Ross has all the right in the world to prevent people from stealing from them. But it appears that certain people are being targeted based on skin color and ethnicity. How do I know this? Well, I generally don't shop here, so when I do, it's because I've taken my wife to the store. I usually sit or stand at the front waiting for her to finish, which I did the other day. As these "Loss Prevention" people position themselves to deter theft with strategized corporate thought, it's not difficult to overhear what they are saying or see who they're watching. On this particular day, the store was relatively empty, so it was clear who these employees were talking about and carefully watching. Three were people of color, two were not from this country, two were poorly dressed, and none were caucasian, and they were the predominant customers in the store. It's disturbing to watch and listen to these people talk about customers as if they were guilty of a crime before actually committing one. All I noticed and heard were these two employees tracking customers and being extremely obvious about it. Not a single time did I see or hear anything about adhering to pandemic regulations as people continued to walk in, even though a few people had their masks under their nose instead of over it. If you're going to use these employees for loss control, at least give them the responsibility to feign concern over COVID regulations. Now that I've ranted on about the above. This store is small, and more than a few weeks after Christmas and New Years', it is still not well stocked. You can find decent merchandise, ask my wife, but they are few and far between. I'll stand pat on my original three stars, but if the store doesn't get stocked soon, I'll have to drop a star. RECOMMENDED: Yes SERVICE: Fair to midland PRICE: $ COVID: Practices flawed pandemic regulations. PARKING: Convenient and well lighted at night. REASON/INTENT: To purchase clothing.
