After having some mold concerns with my tenants, I reached out to Pure Maintenance Portland who were referred by a friend. They responded quickly and offered competitive prices on resolving each issue they found! The mold inspection service was so great that the owner even called me beforehand about timing so we wouldn't be waiting around at arrival time like other companies might do (notably slower). When he arrived his team finished up within two days instead of three as expected--talk about efficient workmanship!! The work they did was great and the process went smoothly. The tenants were happy to stay in their home, except for a brief period when it got fogged (which is why we had such high expectations). Not only did these guys do an amazing job with quality but also being courteous towards us--my dog loved them too!

Hello Leah, I can't speak for anyone else but I know that my mold removal was not covered. After some research, I came to find out that most do not cover it unless it was directly related to an event that was a direct cause (leaves them a lot of wiggle room). Also, to make matters worse, they seem to only give you a short window (weeks) to prove your claim. I do not know about you, but I did not even know I had mold until months after I was exposed.
Mold can start to develop with 24-48 hours after an area has been exposed to water. What make matters even worse is that unless you eliminate the source of wetness (your leaky pipe), the mold will continue to spread even in areas that you cannot readily see. Mold can definitely make you sick. I was sick for years and did not even know it was mold. I would first schedule a doctors appointment, then get a mold inspection. I know they offer them for free to Portland residents.
I suppose it is possible. However, I would not recommend it because even though black mold is obvious to see, it is very likely there is a bunch of mold you do not see. I would leave this to the professionals.
I was at there office before and yes they do offer mold removal consultations. However, I believe you have to be a Portland resident, not sure if that has changed though, you might have to call them. Tell them Brandi sent you :).
I have used them for mold fogging, however, I believe they call it dry fogging because it does not leave everything wet after the treatment which is obviously ideal. The interesting thing about their mold fogging is not only is it good for mold removal, it keeps killing any mold spores that might be lingering as soon as they float back down on any surface.
