I used to work in a seaport fishing town. So I got used to eating fresh, off-the-boat, fish. It's impossible to find fresh food in Utah. But Slapfish is about as good as I have gotten. The fish is above average for the area. I particularly like their New England Clam Chowder. It is the best that I have found out here.

Dang, they really be charging $8 a taco for this much fish. I get the $3 upcharge, but i expected a bit better. Edit; ive eaten some and thank goodness I asked for extra sauce. The sauces are very good, amd the veggies are nice also. Fresh radish and cabbage and onion. A+ Too bad the fish is so dry and completely unseasoned. Not fresh at all.

Cute little counter service spot for fish and chips, lobster rolls and seafood salads. Overall, we really enjoyed our food. Unfortunately, the service was pretty challenging. They were out of about 25% of the menu items and it took almost 30 minutes to get our food. As long as you don’t mind waiting, it’s a decent option.

Food was ok. My wife and I got the ultimate taco, burrito, and chowder fries. Overall we were unimpressed. Chili powder in everything. I'd consider many other options before this one.
