This is the best agency I've been to. The staff is very good at their work and the owner?/manager? Named Russ... Is fantastic, super nice and exceptionally knowledgeable, he has excellent people skills and a wise character. Very good to do business with. 10/10 will come back again when I want a new loan.

Edit: I was given a call from Mike at the Oregon Branch. The call addressed my concerns, clearifed a few things even I was misinformed on, example apparently the fees I was getting charged show on the invoice, but get removed somehow in the backend. My suggestion would be to change this if possible UF, or explain it before hand, so you don't send the wrong message. Now that I have been able to discuss with Mike my customer service concerns, I do feel better about my over all experience. I'll be contacting him personally from now on. Thank you!

*Update* When I first started with United Finance my credit score was 555. United Finance was able to give me a loan. Through out the life of the loan, my credit score jumped up 70 points. I have now just finished paying off my loan and cant wait for my credit score to reflect it. Thanks Russ and Team. You will be missed but not forgotten. --------- Russ and his team of professional financial counselors work together to bring you the best service in providing loans and advice. As I just found out today, if you are late 1 payment, please let them know and communicate with them situation. It will do you more harm if you do not. His team does a great job in keeping you accountable and wants to make sure that you pay for what you borrow. The reason why people complain of high interest rates is because they have bad credit. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit like many others I was out of an income due to furlough which turned in to unemployed. In an attempt to pay my loan with what little funds I had United Finance Vancouver WA was NOT willing to help me such as lowering my monthly payment or at least something to help during this time. Instead I received phone calls 1-2 times daily, followed by an email after each phone call. I would make a payment that I could not even afford and the first thing they asked when can you pay your next payment and if you answer “I am not sure” they will press until you give them a day. Once that day comes they start all over with the harassing calls. I ended up losing income, currently seeking assistance with MANY of my finances such as home, power, food (forgot to mention I am a single mother) other finances/bills come before United Finance Loan. Eventually I was served a notice from United Finance for non-payment. My 13 year old child answered the door and the lady serving the letter asked many questions to my son and also wanted his information...HE IS 13 A CHILD.. this was all recorded on home surveillance not once did she ask if I was home to speak with. After, I received a call from unknown number it was Russ from United Finance..he was very rude and intimidating. I felt cornered and harassed, so uncomfortable I hung up the phone. I wrote a complaint to corporate and have heard nothing back. Today I was served AGAIN with a court hearing notice. It’s a pandemic? I have NO income right now like many others. To be harassed daily, treated poorly and the unwilling to understand or work with me was not needed on top of all the other stress from losing my income. All I will say is see you in court. I hope this company feels good for taking a single mother who loss her income during a pandemic because I missed a whole 2 payments.

We do not provide payday loans, however we do provide installment loans (set interest rate on a set number of payments), based on credit worthiness we may need to require some form of collateral, which could be a vehicle title.
