I tried reporting a homeless man for harassing me and my dog walking at night because thats when i walk him since im off work. I told them exactly what time he comes back because the building the homeless guy stays in is a business of sort so hes gone in the day but back at night and the lady said “oh well call once hes there if hes not we cant do anything” okay so yall cant keep a note or something to swing by later or something yall dont do anything helpful might has well just hang at the spot till the guy showed up

I have had multiple non-emergency interactions with our police department (code enforcement, lost wallet, general questions). Each and every person we have come in contact with have been professional and helpful.

Horrible. They hand out parking tickets for ANYTHING they could possibly find. Half inch over the the “max” space you can be from the curb?? Ticket. No street sweeping signs on certain streets?? Ticket anyways. I’ve seen them give a fix it ticket to the same girl 3 times even after proving she was fixing the registration. It’s like they have nothing better to do but extort Placentia residents. Protect and serve?? Pfft, more like protecting themselves and serving our tickets. Joke of a department.

***UPDATE: THEY BLOCKED ME!*** Placentia Police Dept. welp... 🤷‍♀️I asked a very simple question. And you DELETED my comment even though it has No Profanity. Seems like you have something to hide. All I did was make a very valid point. 💁‍♀️ thank goodness I saved the post, because I thought ahead. I would like to know if this officer was fired? Because she is not a person who should be Apart of ANY police department. Police Brutality is a no go in my book. I hope you have a wonderful day. 😊❤️💕

They have it under file with dates and names. They will block out the other person's information

Yes depending on the volume, time, and type of noise. They encourage friendliness with neighbors first. Have you tried to ask her politely to turn it down a little? You can always call the non- emergency number listed on their website.
