There’s a lot more than what meets the eye to this stuff! I say give it a try. You will learn about yourself and have fun at the same time. Well worth the time and reasonable fee.. I originally didn’t want to do this, but my wife goaded me into it. I have to say that not only was it enlightening, but it was a lot of fun too! He does a lot to make you comfortable, which is important for born skeptics like myself..

So this week is the second time (the first time was two years ago, before I got the place I’m in now) that I have tried looking for places. I call the office, I speak to these women Martha and Jenilee (two separate conversations) and they tell me different things as to the matter of qualifications. Martha tells me one thing, the other tells me something else, that one of the tenants on my application can’t be approved. But I specifically asked because I cannot afford to pay fee after fee looking for apartments. Martha told me it wouldn’t be a problem. Jenilee said it wss, of course after already processing $80 of application fees. If you think you need someone who will work with two tenants over 600 score, and one who doesn’t have a lot of credit history, they are not the company for that. Everyone needs to be 620+ , which is something that EVERYONE in their company should explicitly state because the line “619-__ is still considered” is a lie!

Zero stars if I could. This is a crooked property management company and I am urging everyone to move forward with extreme caution. This review is long over due only because we wanted to wait and see if their behavior and lack of service was just a one time thing or if this is the way they do business. Well, it's been a year and I can 💯 attest to their complete lack of professionalism, service, and care towards tenants. I felt discriminated against as a single person with no dependents based on my financial situation. TLDR: they tried to charge MORE MONEY in rent during the peak of the pandemic and BREACH the contract. Management company went against the legal terms of the contract and tried to charge MORE MONEY than what was stated in the already signed agreement during the height of the pandemic (July 2020) for adding 1 more person to the lease for a 4 bedroom house at 929 E Marshall with only 2 current adults (no children) living there. Not only did they trick me into applying and paying the rental application fee, they then changed the terms of the contract asking for more money, which we refused to comply with, which forced me to have to look for a new place to live after I had already vacated my old apartment. Because we followed the contract guidelines by applying, they now had the financial information to take advantage of us during one of the most stressful times on earth. I didn't know if I was going to have a job and wanted to move in with a friend so that we could save on expenses. It turns out that I actually had to spend $$$thousands more to secure a new apartment. This is just ONE example of the horrible experiences with multiple employees at Ernest and Haas. We spoke to everyone from the bottom to the top over several weeks. Their complete lack of communication skills and professionalism is appalling. This is a CROOKED and SHADY property management company that gives a bad reputation to other good property management companies. We've also spoken to previous tenants in the neighborhood who also shared their similar experiences with the shady dealings of this company. Unfortunately for us, we didn't have the mental capacity to pursue this legally. Too many 1 star reviews here to make this a company to support.

I rented a house for 4 years with this company but I don't recommend it, they bother me a lot for sheer nonsense and when they have to return your deposit they look for any excuse not to return it. I don't understand why they charge you for cleaning when you enter and they want you to leave the house very clean when you leave if the new tenants are charged the same. and they give you the house and after 4 years of living there they want the house the same. like it didn't have wear and tear from carpet paint or the ordinary blinds they put up.

Yes they do. Go to their office and get one. They close daily at 5 though
